About Us
Find out what your car manufacturer, supermarket, and energy supplier, and oil
companies, airlines, house builders and other companies, really think about
climate change.
Climate change is the most important issue of the day – but do they think so?
As a concerned individual I wrote to the head of 65 major companies in Great Britain across a range of
sectors to find out their attitude towards it. The companies are listed below.
To prevent the letters and their replies being duller than a celebrity’s
autobiography, I pretended to be a self-made IT millionaire called Peter
Shullot who does not believe in climate change. By claiming that climate
change is a myth and attempts to tackle it are a threat to big business, I
sought for the companies to state their actual views on the issue and not the
ones polished by PR. When a reply was not received then a follow up letter was
sent up to three times. The name Peter Shullot is a pseudonym and an
anagram for The Polluters. The address I used is a postal address only.
